Exciting News. I Need You.
I am about to be musical director of a burgeoning musical improv show at The Found Theater in Long Beach. I need improvisers, and I need them now. It's not a musical improv games show- it's long form, with a structure. This theater is in a GREAT location, and this is an exciting opportunity to get some musical improv magic happening in Long Beach. We'll start with once-a-week rehearsals (probably two weeks from now) and then go from there.

Okay, so... we're there almost every show recording the performance. I'm sure some of you are wondering what the fuck we're waiting for to get these things up... due to an incident involving the dropping of someone's [uh, my] laptop, we're having issues. So... sorry for the delay. I promise we'll get them up eventually. Eventually will hopefully not be too far away.
p.s. Macs are awesome, but don't let that shit fall [not even from one foot, apparently] unless you're not a broke college student. |

| NEW BLOG FROM AN EX-NUDE |

Thats right folks, I have decided to make it harder for us to all keep up-to-date on each others lives.
By this I mean I will no longer be updating on Ye Olde LiveJournale. LJ was good to me for almost five years, but now I have decided to follow in the footsteps of writers and comedians I admire, and start a webpage of my writing, jokes, and musings. There is only one post on it now, but please, please consider bookmarking my page and checking it ever so often. I promise to update frequently, hopefully with amusing things to say. They wont be updates like "Today I had a really bad day" hopefully. Theyll be more idea based writings and thoughts, perchance on topics I will refer back to in the future for books, scripts, and standup.
Please be the wonderful friends you are and follow me on this journey. Thank you all so much - it may not seem like it, but having you all reading my stuff is kind of really important now more than ever, because Im becoming more focused in my career. And like the big kids at UCB tell me, having this webpage is a good way to jot down ideas, get feedback, refernce old material, and connect with other writers/comedians/actors. And eventuallty I'll be adding links to my resume, headshot, and links to other friends' pages. But baby steps, baby steps...

Good news, Nudefans. If you've been itching to learn all the basics of improvisational comedy, then wait till you hear what we have in store for you. This WEDNESDAY, Live Nudes is hosting its first ever improv workshop, where you'll learn the basics of scenework and character building exercises as well as find out just what we're looking for in an audition. After all, Spring quarter auditions are only a few weeks away, so come and learn!

Thanks so much to all who came to our first show. Suffice to say, it rocked the socks of not just those who were there, but future generations of comedy fans will hear of how amazing that one show was. We have set the bar for all of our future shows to an impossible new height, and we shall strive to reach higher every time. For you guys. For you. And ourselves. But you too.

So, on that day, JANUARY 27th, be at the LITTLE THEATER at 11pm, so that the Misters and Misses Wizards of improv comedy can do their stuff.
Naturally, two teams will be battling it out for the comedy crown. The first contender is, in the color of SHADOWS, Team IF YOU SEE THEM... THEN IT'S TOO LATE!
